The English Language Professionals

We are English Language Professionals whose philosophy is to inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instil a love of learning. Established in 2017, Carole Brown Idiomas teach all ages from the very young to the more mature. We aim to make learning enjoyable and a personal experience. Each class is tailor made to the needs of the learner. Some need IELTS, TESOL or BULATS exam preparation. Others need the tools to deliver a first class business presentation to their colleagues. Or some others simply want to know how to communicate with the natives in an English speaking country.

We teach all levels and offer a wide range of courses including Business English, General English, English for Specific Purposes and Cambridge exam preparation. We teach wherever you are: in your home, in your school or in your company. We are here to bring your English to the next level.

About Carole Brown

Carole is an established and widely respected Cambridge Delta English Language teacher with 8 years teaching experience in Spain. She is highly qualified with a B.A. in Languages and a Masters in Philosophy. Prior to her teaching career, she worked as a Human Resources professional in the banking, insurance and financial sectors where she gained a deep insight into the world of business. In 2005, she was awarded the honorary title of ‘Fellow’ of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development for her breadth of knowledge and experience in the human resources field.

In 2008, I asked myself what I wanted to do with my future, and the answer instinctively came to me. “I want to be a language teacher. I want to teach people everything I know.” I’ve been good with languages since I was little, and I enjoyed learning more and more every day. Thanks to that, I realized it was my gift and I should share it.

I worked tirelessly, learning three languages simultaneously, and a year later, in 2009, I passed the English Teaching Certificate, and that’s when my career as an English teacher began. I continued studying so I could offer more opportunities to my future students. Little by little, I was creating the life I wanted; I was fulfilling my dream.

2013 was one of my best years: I passed the Cambridge Certificate in Language Understanding, Methodology and Resources for Teaching, the Cambridge Certificate in Further Practice, and the Cambridge ELT Specialization. I also got a job as a teacher in Mallorca. I started teaching at the University School of Hospitality and Tourism. I loved being a teacher; teaching my students, spending time with them, seeing them achieve their own goals… They inspired me to keep following my dreams.

In 2015, I left  the school to dedicate myself solely to studying and preparing for my next challenge. In September, I started working at Hotelbeds as a business teacher.
In June 2017, I quit my job to take the Cambridge Certificate in Professional Practice Development, which I passed.

In September of the same year, I left everything to start my own business. Until now, I have been working to help people improve their English, giving private lessons, teaching everyone from the youngest to the oldest, creating dynamics to improve learning…My business continues to grow, and this year, 2025, I have taken the next big step. On July 15th, I became an official Cambridge Exam Preparation Center.

This will help all level students to get an Official Language Certificate for their University or career needs. Carole Brown Idiomas will help you every step of the way.
